- As a master thesis researcher, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team of researchers and industrial PhD candidates.
- You will conduct in-depth literature reviews on recent holographic optics and related technologies.
- You will design and simulate novel holographic optical elements, tailored to specific applications.
- Furthermore, you will realize sophisticated holographic optics by a novel holographic wave front printing concept.
- Gain hands-on experience by working closely with our experimental team to realize and validate the proposed designs in a laboratory setting.
- Last but not least you will work on the interface of academic and corporate research, by presenting your results in a thesis and ideally a joint scientific publication.
- Education: master studies in the field of Photonics, Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: strong background in optics, photonics, or a related discipline, familiarity with simulation tools (, Zemax, VirtualLab Fusion) and programming languages (, Python, MATLAB), hands-on lab-experience with lasers and free-space optics is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm: for exploring new ideas and pushing the boundaries of optical technologies
- Languages: good in German or in English
