Bragi changed the audio world in 2015 with the launch of The Dash, the world's first truly wireless headphone (yes, a whole 12 months before the Airpods...)

Back then we changed the fundamental way people interacted with headphones, now we are changing the way people get value from their headphones.

To do this we are making an OS, Apps, and an App Store for Headphones. We can't give you all the details here but would love to talk to you more about it. One thing is for sure, our Mobile platform will be key on our way to success. Therefore, we are looking to hire a Head of Mobile who would lead our thriving team

Head of Mobile (M/F/d)**This role has 50% development 50% management responsibility

What you will be working on

Lead and manage the mobile development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
Own departmentrelevant processes and way of working, supporting a continuous improvement and learning culture
Drive the adoption of best practices in mobile app development
Participate in the development process and code reviews, ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile product
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and technical specifications
Provide strategic insights to executive leadership on mobile app trends and opportunities

What you will need

Minimum 5 years experience in iOS or Android development as a Senior Developer/Architect
Minimum 3 years experience in a technical leadership or team lead role
Have managed a team of a minimum of 10 people
Indepth understanding of mobile development lifecycle, architecture patterns, UI/UX principles, and mobile performance optimization techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin and Java
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work within constraints
Fluent in both written and spoken English

Nice to have:

Experience with embedded integration
Experience with Bluetooth is a big plus
