About the role


For the NEXPERIA Logistics team we are looking for a logistics specialist located in Hamburg, who supports local logistics processes.

The Logistics Specialist will report to the Warehouse Manager (Hamburg) within the logistics organization which is part of the Supply Chain Management organization.

What you will do

  • Support the logistics operations in Hamburg on processes and cost efficiency
  • Close alignment to the local warehouse manager to support all main stakeholder in Hamburg in sync with the overall global logistics strategy
  • Operational export customs processing
  • Timely planning and processing of shipping orders incl. all related procedures and processes
  • Contact person for specific logistics topics at local warehouse in Hamburg like carrier management, freight auditing, system & procedure related to logistics ops., logistics and financial reporting
  • Project support for various kinds of logistics projects potentially on international scale with regards to optimization, quality, warehouse operations, efficiency, supply chain, SAP enhancements, system interface changes
  • Daily operations for shipping/invoicing via SAP
What you will need

  • Vocational training in a commercial field with additional education
  • Several years relevant work experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, freight forwarding business in an international environment preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS-Office, SAP knowledge preferred
  • Independent and very precise way of working
  • Good analytical, financial and communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
