We have just recently expanded to Germany and are looking for the first few people to help us build Birdie in Germany from scratch.

If you want to experience what it means to launch a new market from zero then this is an opportunity you won't want to miss.

At Birdie, we're all about making things happen. We're building software to reinvent care and help solve the difficulties behind ageing. We have just recently moved into our beautiful office located in the heart of Berlin.

To help us bring Birdie to the market in Germany, we're looking for a
Founder's Associate (6+ months or interested in permanent roles) to work alongside our founding team in Germany.

What you will do
Everyone at Birdie has an impact, no matter how recently they joined our team or what experience they bring. This applies to our paid internships too.

As a venture development intern, you will start with:

See the immediate impact of your effort working on outbound calls. You will be pivotal to our sales effort, helping us build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
Improve your strategic decisionmaking by diving into strategic GTM decisions to improve how we find, segment, and approach prospective customers.
Gain insight into launching a new market, and a chance to collaborate with the founding team on everything from product to marketing and design.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

This is a paid internship, so you're currently enrolled in your last year (or have recently graduated from) university.
You have conducted previous internships in fastpaced environments in the past, ideally in a VC, consulting firm, or a startup.
You're a native German speaker and consider yourself a strong communicator. The idea of taking sales calls is truly exciting for you
You are based in Berlin or willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.
Finally, you consider yourself a gogetter who can work well in a dynamic team. You should be able to sell yourself and communicate effectively.

Compensation
We offer a monthly gross stipend of €2.083, plus a performance-based bonus of €300.

Location
We have an office in a co-working space in the heart of Berlin. We would love to see you there throughout the whole internship.

Base holiday
33 days base holiday + company closure from Christmas Eve to New Years
