Your mission?


As Project Commercial Administrator you are responsible for the independent commercial processing and reporting of projects as support for the project manager.

Your key responsibilities?


The position in Mannheim is a great opportunity to be involved in the continuous improvement activities in the SERVICES division and to ensure that these are applied in the ongoing project work.

You would have the opportunity to support the project manager in all commercial matters and to manage other project-related activities within the role.


Commercial administration of projects:


  • Creating orders in SAP with the appropriate project and network structure
  • Entering the incoming orders calculation in SAP and booking the incoming orders
  • Creation and sending of order confirmations, down payments, partial and final invoices, preparation of credit notes, monitoring of all customer payments
  • Plan, complete and track all commercial deadlines and activities
  • Setting up purchase requisitions in SAP, ordering and settling internal services

Assistance to the project manager in all commercial issues:

  • Time and cost planning and implementation of corrective measures
  • Preperation of monthly project reports, preview of sales, costs and balance sheet items as well as calculation of the overall result based on the work of the project core team
  • Correct presentation of the financial situation of the projects during the entire duration in the project core team
  • As part of the tender/bid preparation, creating bid calculations for uncritical projects with a low order value
  • Commercial support for the project manager regarding risk & opportunity assessment; claim management and penalty claims
  • Financial management of the guarantee and closure of the project after completion

Project-related input for the controlling department:

  • Rolling forecast of incoming payments for controlling as part of cash flow planning
  • Support of the controlling in the preparation of the final calculation and variation analysis for the bid calculation
  • Working for the Controlling especially when creating the monthly reports, processing databases, etc. Assistance for the controlling department, in particular in preparing the monthly reports, editing databases, etc.

Minimum qualifications:


  • Completed commercial training in industry or business studies
  • 3 years of professional experience in the branch mentioned
  • Business fluent German
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools
  • Independent, goaloriented and analytical working style
  • Team spirit, flexibility and commitment.
