What's the opportunity?:

As an Operations & Finance Assistant at Perspective, you will have company-wide impact, help shape our culture and increase the performance of our company.

You will take over responsibility from the first day and lead your own projects.

You'll be part of a unique and value-driven team and will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supporting environment.

You can be based anywhere in Europe, as we are a fully remote company.

What will I be doing?:

• You will be the goto person in our team for everything related to operations, finance, human resources, data, GDPR and legal topics. Together with our COO Robert you will find solutions for challenges that arise while building a software startup
• Operational tasks will take over the majority of your work time: organising international team events, helping out with travel bookings for our teams, ensuring our team members have everything they need to work effectively, creating and administrating Notion structures in order to keep our organisation focussed and others
• The finance part of this role includes the preparation of monthly and yearly accounting in collaboration with our tax consultants, overseeing our subscription management, correct billing of our customers and assisting our support team with finance related problems, as well as various other finance and controlling related tasks and projects
• You will also take over responsibilities in other areas, like taking over payroll administration, GDPR related questions, implementing changes in our company based on new legislation, assisting in our market entry strategies and further more

What skills do I need?:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship or similar
• At least one year of relevant experience, ideally at a SaaS startup
• German native speaker and fluent in English
• Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers
• Ability to work effectively with people throughout the company
• Pragmatism and a problem solving mindset
• Eager to learn and keen to take on responsibility
• You are proactive and have a handson mentality
• Intrinsic motivation to work on impactful projects all around a company
• Strong understanding of and skilled in MacOS, computer systems in general, softwares like Google Sheets, Notion, Datev
• You are an early adopter and quick learner of tools like Asana, Notion, Roam Research (or similar)
