The German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS) is one of the leading international think tanks and research institutions.

IDOS supports a global public welfare policy geared towards the concept of sustainable development through interdisciplinary research, impact-oriented policy advice and internationally oriented training.

As one of the research programme clusters we are dealing with 'Inter
- and transnational cooperation'. We are looking for
two student assistants from 15 February / 1 March 2023 onwards.

Our research cluster includes the Managing Global Governance (MGG) Programme, which is focussing on strategic knowledge cooperation for the Agenda 2030 with rising powers (in particular Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, and South Africa).

This includes a training and dialogue format for young leaders (MGG Academy).

In combination with this training and dialogue format we are coordinating and supporting research and policy dialogue conferences together with our transnational partners.

The team 'Knowledge Cooperation' is looking for two student assistants as support for administrative tasks and research support, with workplace at DIE, Tulpenfeld 6, 53113 Bonn:

Research on diverse topics related to international cooperation
Editing of excel sheets, evaluations, layout of documents
Organization of logistics and support of international participants
Technical and administrative support of physical and/or digital conferences and meetings

Qualification:

Master student status in Political Science, Social Science, Geography, Regional Sciences or similar
Interest in global development cooperation and international relations
Excellent written and oral skills in German (C2 or native language) and English (C1
C2)
Social skills and crosscultural skills
Organizing ability, diligence and autonomous working ability

Working time is 40 hours/month and will be remunerated with 13,00 €/hour.
