Responsibilities:


  • You will prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS for corporations of the Freudenberg Group
  • You will be responsible for the correct recording of all current business transactions and clarification of accounting issues in accordance with German GAAP and IFRS
  • You are the

Key User General Ledger:
professional contact person for IT in the context of system maintenance, review and further development of accounting-relevant SAP processes

  • You will maintain the G/L chart of accounts and balance sheet tables (SAP FI-GL module) as well as interfaces to the Freudenberg Group reporting system
  • You will prepare the monthly advance VAT returns
  • You are the
professional contact for internal and external interfaces

  • You are responsible for preparing adhoc analyses and meeting internal and external deadlines
  • You enjoy project work in the area of finance and accounting

Qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training to become a senior accountant or have successfully completed a degree with a focus on finance and business administration
  • You have several years of professional experience in accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements according to German GAAP and IFRS
  • You have a deep knowledge of the German GAAP and IFRS accounting regulations
  • You have a very good knowledge of the SAP module FI-GL (experience with SAP S/4Hana is desirable) and are proficient in the use of the MS Office package, especially Excel
  • Your working language is German and you have a good command of English (spoken and written)
  • You have a high affinity for numbers, a structured and analytical way of working as well as strong team skills
  • You are responsible, committed, reliable and confidential
