In the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Oldenburg the Institute of Physics is offering a position for a


Post-doctoral researcher (m, f, d)
E13 TV-L / 100%

for 3 years in the research group "Quantum Materials" of Prof. Dr. C. Schneider. The position should start the 1st of January 2025.

Relevant expertise with the following necessary spectroscopic methods and methods of material preparation are is expected: μPL in the visible and infrared, time resolved spectroscopy, photon correlation spectroscopy, optical spectroscopy with angle resolution, preparation of two-dimensional perovskites.

Handling of mode-locked laser systems is required. Experience with studies of coupled emitter
- microcavity structures is expected. Competent English language skills are required.
Teaching experience in English language in the field of experimental physics in the Bachelor and Master-level is expected.
