Role Summary/Purpose

  • Demonstrate strong technical capability in solving technical issues in solar Inverter.
  • Work with team in assembly, operation, and execution of test protocols. Measure and document experimental procedures and work with and communicate to extended team.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Ability to work on device characterization, double pulse testing, MATLAB simulation modeling.
  • Understanding the Inverter product specifications and customize for project requirements.
  • Basic knowledge in IGBT/MOSFET devices operating principles, Eon/Eoff loss calculations
  • Work with team on wiring, assembly and establishment of test setup for device characterization routines. Capable of troubleshooting the issues in the product.
  • Participate in testing to validate the product as required.
  • Adhere to high quality standards and work ethic with focus on safety during execution. Document test protocols and procedures, measurements and communicate with extended team.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Some experience in Engineering in similar/relevant field.
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, communication, organization, planning and leadership skills.
  • Process focus and continuous improvement orientation.

Desired Characteristics

  • Have a good understanding of the power electronics converter and inverter designs.
  • The ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks
  • Being innovative, need to find new ways to improve the designs and sometimes challenge current ways of working
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis.
  • Experience working and operating measurement equipment. Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
