What you'll do


We are seeking a motivated working student to join our Innovation Office & Strategic Projects team at SAP Signavio with a focus on AI/LLM engineering.


  • Participate in the evaluation of LLM proofs of concept, working handson with the technology from a product and engineering perspective.
  • Perform research on the latest trends and advancements in AI and LLMs, and provide recommendations based on these insights.
  • Source, generate and drive ideas to improve SAP Signavio Suite with datadriven innovations.
  • Holistically derisk AI/LLM related innovation ideas in a selfdriven manner as part of an interdisciplinary team.

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Handson experience with large language models, generative AI frameworks, deep learning algorithms, NLP and transformer architecture and prompt engineering
  • Background of work in the innovation domain and/or entrepreneurial trackrecord is a big plus.
  • Preferred fields of study: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/Typescript
  • Excellent results at university; Proven track record in coursework or projects involving sophisticated machine learning algorithms.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of LLMs, generative AI and ML in general.
  • Experience or interest in working handson with AI technologies and products.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Proactive, selfmotivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Advanced proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
