We are the European subsidiary of a worldwide operating Japanese Chemical Company which employs around employees. Within the Mitsui Chemicals Group, Mitsui Chemicals Europe GmbH takes care of the regions Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Our product portfolio includes - amongst others - fine & performance chemicals, packaging & engineering materials and specialties for the automotive and industrial sector.

For our Supply Chain Department, we are looking for a

Group Leader Procurement & Inventory Management

Qualification Requirements

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a university degree, preferably in business administration
You have demonstrably years of experience in production planning, procurement and inventory issues
You have project management experience
You have advanced SAP system knowledge.
Strong analytical and MS Office skills are essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
You have demonstrably years of experience of managing a team effectively
Willingness to travel

Work

Your assignments will involve especially:

Production forecast and demand management
Discussing and determining of the production schedule in cooperation with third parties like our business divisions and manufacturers
Materials Management, e.g purchase of raw materials, packaging materials etc.
Inventory analysis and optimization in cooperation with our Warehouse Operations Specialist
Handling of all relevant customs issues like long term supplier declarations
Supplier Management evaluation, audit, performance, quality, price management
Contract negotiation, implementation and management
Budget management
Creation and implementation of KPI's
To cooperate with our QA Manager and QM Manager to ensure compliance with company Quality Policy, and appropriately maintain documentation within Quality Management System.
Training, development and management of direct reports
