Navan has completed four transactions across different international markets in the last two years.

We are constantly considering M&A opportunities to complement Navan's capabilities in the Travel, Payment and Expense industries and to accelerate our growth.

Join a full-fledged deal team that has the end-to-end ownership for all transactions at Navan along with other critical strategic projects across the global organization.

We are looking for a rockstar Sr. Associate with exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication skills.


What You'll Do:


  • Support Executive team in defining and executing our strategy to win in the Travel, Payment, and Expense markets, working directly with the Director, Strategy and M&A
  • Help coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across the global organization as part of strategic initiatives, acquisitions, or integrations
  • Take ownership for various steps along the M&A deal cycle from opportunity sourcing to deal closing and integration
  • Develop business plans for potential acquisitions targets, value their business and derive a purchase price
  • Lead the commercial and financial due diligence process and coordinate our internal experts and external advisors
  • Prepare discussion documents and decision material for senior management
  • Define the integration strategy for acquired targets and coordinate daytoday integration efforts

What We're Looking For:


  • You have 2 years of work experience in a fastpaced environment (e.g., management consulting, investment banking, VC, PE, startup), M&A experience is a big plus
  • You take over endtoend ownership for your work and further possess strong process management and interpersonal skills to coordinate workstreams with multiple stakeholders
  • You have stellar conceptual and quantitative problemsolving capabilities
  • You feel comfortable in an ambiguous and agile environment
  • You have the ability to build trust with stakeholders and leaders across the organization and drive results through soft skills, not through mandates
  • You have the natural ability to communicate well fluency in English is a must, German is a plus
  • You are willing to travel for work
  • You have a German work permit and are able to start in May
