YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be the focal contact point ("Key Account Manager") for one of Brenntag's Divisions (BES or BSP) to support and challenge the Divisional strategy definition and execution

- [Specific for 2023] Structure, Optimize and Setup the strategy development and implementation process (strategy dialogues, strategy tracking, yearly strategy review, )

Structure strategic issues and advise the top management of the Brenntag on these questions
Manage strategic transversal topics (e.g. competitive & economic intelligence, sustainability and strategy,)
Project management and business consulting conception, support, coordination, and execution of strategic, interdisciplinary, and global projects
Moderate and facilitation of workshops at top management level
Prepare and evaluation of strategic investments files for Board and Supervisory Board
Significant contributions to the development of new tools and methods for strategy development
Coach more junior CP&S team members

YOUR PROFILE:

Master of science with chemistry focus supplemented by business sciences knowledge or MBA in economics with chemistry knowledge
At least 8 years of professional experience at one of the leading management consultancies on senior project manager, engagement manager or junior partner level
Or Proven leading experience in strategy planning & execution on Corporate and business level, consultancy, project management and market & competition analysis at international chemical group
Thinking strategically, outside the box and in scenarios with a holistic view
Deep know how on strategy tools & methods, evaluation of strategies and investments
Focused on getting things done, strong focus on optimal cost / benefit balance, competence to lead small teams
Organizational awareness and network competence
