Essential Functions:


  • Performs performance analysis on Operating Systems including Windows 2012/16 Server and Windows 7/10.
  • Provides administration support to site SIPR and NIPR network communication systems.
  • Performs hardware maintenance, documents deficiencies affecting performance or effectiveness: Dell Servers, RAID disk configurations, PCs, and CISCO networking hardware, WANs and LANs.
  • Experience with Account management, PKI cert management, LDAP configuration/management.
  • Establish and maintain uptodate cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices.
  • Experience in the use of IT tools for managing and troubleshooting complex computer networks.
  • Conduct weekly cybersecurity system audits.
  • Support critical operations during standard and nonstandard working hours.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Work is 100% onsite and cannot be accomplished remotely.

Qualifications:


  • Education:
  • Associate's degree plus 7 years recent specialized experience, or
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or
  • Major certification (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, CISSP) plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or
  • In lieu of a degree or certification, minimum of 11 years of prior related experience.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • DOD M IAT 3 certification.

Preferred Additional Skills:


  • Minimum of 6 years of MILSATCOM experience with emphasis on computerbased satellite network control systems and IT.
  • Experience in the management of WSOTS II computer networks with skills particular to the administration of a Windows and AD domain environment.
  • Performing performance analysis on: (1)

Application Software:
Common Network Planning System (CNPS), Solar Winds, and (2)

Network Protocols:
TCP/IP, FTP, and SNMP.

  • Maintains firewall rule sets and related parameters, Intrusion Detection Software (IDS), reviews audit logs, and takes required corrective action when an intrusion is detected. Following reconfiguration, analyzes satellite and network performance to confirm the effectiveness of the reconfiguration and identify anomalies. Analyzes DSCS and WGS network configurations and link performance.
  • Experience with Cisco products and virtualization tools and implementation.
  • Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements.
  • Working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers.
  • Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks.
  • Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, teamoriented environment
  • Demonstrated selfstarter efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent task
  • Scripting experience (Bash/Shell, Python, Perl).
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
