We are hiring a
Seeds Regional Process Automation Leader - EMEA


The Regional Process Automation Leader - EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) provides strategic direction and support in all aspects of PA within the region, remaining aligned with the Global PA strategy.

The Regional Leader works with the global team, as well as with site and regional business leaders, to ensure the PA strategy is executed for the region.


Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Lead PA site assessment efforts for the region
  • Capital project planning and execution for the region
  • Develop 5year planning/budgeting content for PA systems
  • Document systems and develop improvement recommendations to Regional Capital Execution Leader
  • Align with global MES team and make site improvement recommendations to facilitate MES futurestate systems
  • Align with global strategies such as OEE, PCN implementation, Machine safety, etc.
  • Consulting with site resources to assist in implementation of the global PA strategy
  • Evaluate and validate regional PA vendors for support and project execution
  • Develop regional PA support strategy (sites and region)
  • Provide for high level support for Operations

This role will report to the Seeds Global Process Automation Leader.

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Years of experience required: 10 years of experience working on industrial automation
  • Industrial Automation systems (PLC, HMI, devices, especially Siemens and/or Rockwell)
  • Windows server and PC setup/configuration (virtual and physical systems)
  • Industrial networking (machine and/or enterprise Ethernet networks)
  • MES systems (transaction managers, SQL, reporting, etc.)
  • Effective communications and project management skills
  • Lifelong learner
