We are looking to fill the following position in Faculty 4: Health and Social Work as soon as
possible.

The following aspects are required for the position:

  • Teaching experience in the field of health sciences and/or social work
  • Professional experience in the field of mental health and/or ageing
  • Research and publication experience in the field of mental health with links to ageing
research (collaboration, coordination and/or management of research projects)

  • Team player with a resilient personality who fosters respectful communication with all
status groups

  • Degree in human, social, societal or health sciences or equivalent

The following aspects are desirable for the position:

  • Research focus in the area of development across the lifespan, prevention and
intervention of mental impairment, discrimination and participation research

  • Didactic skills and a willingness to undertake further training in this area
  • Completed further training (for example: Supervision, sociotherapy, psychotherapy,
specialist training, etc.)

  • Experience in acquiring thirdparty funding
  • Willingness to take on responsibility in the context of academic selfadministration
The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship,
employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis
with a three-year probationary period.
