We are seeking for bestinclass individuals to join our hightech company, which specializes in cuttingedge machine tools and laser technology. Situated in Ulm, a dynamic hub within the TRUMPF Group, our rapidly growing hightech venture focuses on the development and production of Photonic Components (VCSEL, Photodiodes) using stateoftheart semiconductor processes.
We are in search of a highly qualified individual to assume the role of Head of Epitaxy for our VCSEL Epitaxy group. This management position presents an opportunity to lead and advance epitaxial growth processes within our organization.
What You'll be Doing:
Lead a larger team of epitaxial experts in both R&D and high-volume production environments
Oversee epitaxial growth processes to ensure bestinclass VCSEL epitaxy performance
Pave the way for advancements in VCSEL design while remaining at the forefront of scientific research in the field
Continuously improve epitaxial growth processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and quality
What we need to see:
A creative thinker dedicated to continuous improvement
An MS or PhD in physics, electrical engineering, or material science
3+ years of experience in technical leadership roles
Broad expertise in semiconductor epitaxy techniques (MBE, MOCVD)
Strong organizational skills coupled with effective leadership abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in epitaxial growth processes, preferably within the VCSEL or semiconductor industry
A proven track record of achieving results while upholding standards of quality and customer satisfaction
