We are offering aninternship position (full-time, 40 hours/week) to support the development of flight controls for a new concept of VTOL aircraft focusing on the flight controller performance analysis.
Your tasks:
- Your tasks include:_
- Analysis of several flight phases like hover, transition, and cruise
- Analysis of several actuator failure scenarios
- Flight controller evaluation using different linear performance and robustness characteristics: e.g., settling time or phase and gain margins
- Nonlinear performance analysis using Simulink aircraft simulation
- Support with aircraft performance analysis
- Possibility of participation in different test activities (SIL, HIL)
Your skills and profile:
- You are enrolled in aerospace engineering or a similar course of studies (third year Bachelor or higher, Master)
- You have good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink
- Knowledge of C is an advantage
- You communicate confidently in English at a professional level
