About the opportunity:

We are seeking a part-time working student or full-time intern to assist N26' Central Outsourcing Management Department in various tasks of financial regulatory compliance and third party risk & provider management.

Within today's highly specialised services industry you will find numerous external service providers to any company providing business and IT support.

These 3rd-Party-Services require a clear understanding of the outsourced services and linked risks to any company.

The position for an internship or for a working student offers an insight into various functions of a bank and further offers an opportunity to experience the expectations of and from different departments and their linked risks.

In this role, you will:

Participate in the projects to optimise the outsourcing management processes
Participate in the companywide review of outsourcing risks and control concepts
Support in the quality assurance of submitted documents from various departments
Support the outsourcing team with daily tasks, e.g. support business owners to identify, monitor and steer outsourcing risks
Support the outsourcing team with the facilitation and coordination of meetings with various stakeholders to ensure compliant contingency and exit & termination plans for outsourced processes and activities
Support the outsourcing team to ensure service quality monitoring is executed throughout the business

What you need to be successful:

You are a Bachelor/Master Student or Graduate in one of the following fields:

Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics, Computer Science or comparable

Your previous experience within a bank or financial institution would be beneficial
Excellent written and oral language skills in English (minimum C1)
German language skills are a definitive advantage
You have a handson mentality and willingness to learn with a positive attitude
You are legally eligible to work in Germany as some inoffice work in our Berlin office will be necessary
