Allocation of new projects
Definition as well as implementation of individualized commodity groups and supplier strategies
Scouting, strategic selection and qualification of new suppliers
Independent determination of cost structures and drivers as well as commercial evaluation of new parts
Definition of purchasing projects for the purpose of cost reduction as well as quality improvement
Contract and price negotiations in accordance with our purchasing goals and strategies
International supplier and contract management as well as maintenance of existing supplier relationships
Processing of individual orders and framework agreements including cost and deadline tracking
Preparation of market analyses and derivation of a commodity strategy
Preparation of makeorbuy decisions
Successfully completed studies as a graduate (industrial) engineer (M/F/d) or comparable
Experience with manufacturing processes of mechanical assemblies
Cooperation with the development, manufacturing and quality departments as well as with our suppliers
Experience in international purchasing
Fluent in written and spoken German and English (further language skills such as Spanish, Italian, French or Chinese advantageous)
Strong cost and quality awareness
High degree of initiative, commitment and solution orientation
Communication and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel at home and abroad
