A Snapshot of Your Day
The Financial Controller position is a central part of Siemens Energy Electrolyzer Manufactung's finance and controlling department. At the fast-growing factory, you ensure compliant implementation of guidelines, processes, and internal controls.

A day at this young and growing organization has many tasks around implementing, creating and developing new elements, besides the standard recuring tasks like month end closings, reporting and audits.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Responsibility for external reporting of our electrolyser production in Erlangen and Berlin
  • Coordination and preparation of internal and external audits
  • Responsibility for coordination and execution of monthly closings of the entire ARE in SAP as a link to Siemens Energy AC departments
  • Assumption of balance sheet analysis and central responsibility for inventory valuation in the monthly financial statements
  • Responsibility for the implementation of and compliance with an internal control system
  • Supporting the effectiveness of the department by implementing new, and further developing existing digital reporting tools and systems

What You Bring

  • BA/BS/Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Finance
  • Experience in working with similar functions, specifically Finance / Controlling, Accounting or Audit are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and ThinkCell as well as strong knowledge in financial controlling and management accounting (IFRS)
  • Fluent English skills, German skills are preferred
  • Handson attitude, engaged and team player with excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills to solve complex tasks and present them in a transparent way
  • Motivated by implementing and developing digital solutions
