    Bauer Technology sets the strategy for the Bauer companies within the group, IT co-ordinates major investments and change programmes, bringing the company on a journey from a highly federated set of autonomous and independent companies to an operation that maximises the opportunity of working at scale across the group – through knowledge sharing, collaboration and centres of excellence. The Technology group has a wide range of knowledge and experience from publishing and printing to radio broadcasting, and the full range of Enterprise IT systems and services and digital customer facing services. Distributed across the globe the Technology group has significant presence in Germany (headquarters), Poland and the United Kingdom, with operations in 14 territories.

    The person in this role is working as part of a new team which will take overall ownership of the ServiceNow tool platform within Bauer Media at a Group level. The Product Owner will drive innovation and maximise the benefits generated through the usage of ServiceNow. She/he will own the vision for the platform and will plan new features and changes.

    The position is liable for the future development, for managing customer demands, ensuring completion of customer requests, provides second level technical.

    Your responsibilities

  • Drive the vision, strategy and roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in coordination with regional and worldwide stakeholders.
  • Identify users, create, and maintain user stories, and develop and prioritise functional requirements for new or revised features or enhancements as well as design, and implement automation measures in collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders, especially within the Technology organisation.
  • Analyse, design, implement, test, and document ServiceNow related processes.
  • Recommend and leverage industry trends and future-proof best practices.
  • Partner with Bauer's technology organisation and internal business teams to propose and specify solutions.
  • Design Bauer's application, process and data landscape and resolve, report and manage incidents.
  • Produce documentation and training materials, conduct user training sessions and own product change management activities.
  • Provide input on key decisions on priorities and design and work to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned.
  • Responsible for leading Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, and oversee project activities throughout all phases of delivery.
  • Lead and manage third party vendors to ensure timely deliverables within budget and scope as required.

    • Your profile

  • You bring minimum 5 years' experience in a product/service management or organisational change role and a minimum of 2 years' experience working as ServiceNow admin/developer.
  • You hold a ServiceNow certification as well as a ITIL 4 certification and profound experience in ServiceNow modules and services (Customer Portal, CSM, Self Service, ITSM and Integration Hub).
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of ServiceNow especially ITSM and CMDB module and experience working in a variety of architecture roles (., enterprise, solution, tooling, integration, data, and infrastructure).
  • A high learning agility and problem-solving skills to understand the current state and provide technical solutions.
  • Ability to maintain the appropriate awareness of ever-changing business needs, technical changes and vendor/supplier relationships and services.
  • Depth and breadth of expertise with cloud services, security, integrations with external systems, and data management.
  • Experience working with modern architectures (., automation, cloud-based, microservices-based) in a DevOps environment.
  • Demonstrated influence, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, including recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with leadership to build succession plans for key technical roles.
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum, DevOps, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA, ITIL, and cyber security frameworks.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and business process reengineering.
