For permanent employment the Software department at OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a

Systems Engineering Architect - FDIR (M/F/d)

Your Tasks

  • Technical coordination of FDIR tasks across all satellite subsystems
  • Responsible for providing documents such as FDIR analysis, FDIR specification, FDIR test specification and FDIR test procedure
  • Support of satellite projects from the predevelopment phase up to launch campaign, including inorbit commissioning
  • Organisation and conduction of internal reviews
  • Monitor the compliance to requirements, with respect to cost, schedule and risks.
  • Be the interface to the customer and partners for FDIRrelated topics
  • Support the corresponding system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and the verification planning
  • Support implementation of agreed changes to the design and deliverables, e.g. for RFWs (Request for Waiver) or RFDs (Request for Deviation) or NCRs (Non-Compliance Reports)
  • Write test specifications, support procedure generation and execution and evaluate test results for requirements verification
  • Contribution to system and subsystem level verification in the definition of test plans, test procedures and review of test results
Your Qualifications

  • A degree in electrical or aerospace engineering or comparable qualifications
  • Experience in space business, especially with hardware projects
  • Knowledge of Failure Detection, Isolation, and Recovery (FDIR) concepts
  • Experience with testing in a complex hardware environment
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (in particular, tcl) would be a plus
  • Strong team player and strong analytical thinking and organizational skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
