The Chair of Photonics and Ultrafast Laser Science of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is looking for a

PhD student (m,f,x) for 3 years with 39,83 hours per week (TV-L E13):

The main research topic is to explore new modelocking mechanisms from high-power thin-disk lasers to boost the pulse energy levels reachable.

The work will encompass both theoretical analysis and implementation of experimental setups.

The researcher (M/F/d) will also have responsibilities in assisting students at the Bachelor and Masters level in the Faculty with exercise classes and seminars.
