We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of
Director Business Development & Account Management TAE. Your role will be to lead assigned sales and accounts within the TAE Sector Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Lead growth on the Assigned Accounts within the TAE Sector Team in order to meet AGP Growth expectations
- Manage TAE Pan EMEA RFQs coordinating the different countries and products involved
- Lead the implementation of the assigned sales strategies
- Engagement with clusters and countries to drive TAE Sector growth
- Active engagement and joint development with CSI and other business units to develop expected growth
- Cooperation with other leaders of other functions involved in the sales process (e.g. IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, etc.) to continuously improve the sales process, production of deliverables (e.g. solutions, proposals, etc.) and to ensure the required resources are available
- Identify promising sales areas and upcoming industry trends and direct sales force towards target accounts and sectors
What is required from you?
- University Degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on business development & sales
- Strong experience in logistics ideally Business Development, Account Management, Solutions Design, or Strategy, with very good knowledge of DSC competitors.
- Professional commercial skills with a customerfocused mindset both externally and internally
- Excellent consultative selling skills and techniques, with a proven record of closing deals
- Excellent facilitation/presenting skills in order to run joint customer workshops
- Excellent key stakeholder management and networking skills
- Proven experience working with different countries and cultures
- Ability to think strategically, conceptually, and articulate strategic & innovative plans
- Proven ability to manage and influence in a matrix management environment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
What can you bring as a plus?
- Experience in TAE Sector would be valuable
- A combination of operational expertise and a business development track record is an asset.
- Experience in other divisions (e.g. CSI, DGF, etc.) beneficial
- Fluency in any further EU languages
