Senior Teamleader Customs House Brokerage (M/Fd) for our Frankfurt office:

• Ensure that customs department will comply with the pre-agreed processes between customer, operations and customs

- nsure that customs entries are compliance with all laws and AEO

• Solving customs related problems generally
• Relationship development with local customs
• Attend customs related meetings and keep local organization duly informed
• Lead improvement and process optimization initiatives
• Perform data integrity check and make sure all standards are adhered to
• Support local onboarding of new business or new agreed processes
• Create, maintain and validate working instructions and customer SOP documents
• Organizational departmental planning with Customs Manager Germany
• Establish the profit ratio together with the Customs Manager Germany
• Ensure all KPIs meet customer demand
• Ensure all team meets the customer's and BDP internal deadlines
• Conduct periodically review and improve the process flow and document process flow
• Carry out internal systems training to staff
• Ensure billing is done correctly and timely
• Monitor all required data is updated into internal or customer systems (according procedures)
• Preparing reports required by customers and/or internal team
• Setting objectives for the team and conducting a review 2 times per year
• Conducting as well as documenting weekly meetings with the team
• Management of customs bond and related financials in close cooperation with FM/CM
• Supporting function in the onboarding of new employees

Your profile:

• Minimum of a Bachelor ́s degree or equivalent and additional qualifications in supply chain management will be helpful
• Experience of minimum 3 years in leadership role in customs
• Knowledge and experience of freight forwarding operations
• Working knowledge of the operations procedure in the country
• Knowledge in the system "CM ZABIS
• BluJay/e2Open advantageous
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
• Language: German and English, both fluent
