Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Lead Data Assessment Specialist Engineering (d/f/m)
You will join the EXBP team in charge of program performance and the management of transversal projects.

The position will consist of leading Export Control and Data Governance roles within Program Directorate.

You will be in daily contact with Tiger / H145 / H135 / Doors programs

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product.

Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Coordinate and organize the activities of a team of business analysts, data analysts and project managers (Internals and Subcontractors)
Enhance and improve data assessment processes throughout the Airbus Helicopters Engineering
Ensure the coherency, consistency and alignment with Airbus Helicopters security directives and methods
Communicate and align regularly with stakeholders and partners
Perform data assessment tasks : gather data sharing requests, assess their sensitivity linked to internal or external requirements (e

g :
Export Control Regulations), propose creative mitigations to unblock the Engineering activities, closely with our IT department.

Perform data cataloging tasks : structure the Engineering Data into a data model and assess their quality and sensitivity.

Desired skills and qualifications

Organized and structured mindset
Ability to synthesize and structure information
Ideally having experience with aerospace engineering data
At ease when the framing is not fully finished (the activity is quite new : you will to have to contribute to the framing)
At ease in digital environments
Pragmatism : Rigor but willingness to support Engineering departments with sustainable solutions
Ability to interact with many stakeholders from different Airbus Entities
English fluent
Regulations knowledge (Export Control, Defense Classification)
Data Analysis & Data Management
