Local Unit & Position Description:

Maritime Communications supports DNV, the world's leading classification society, in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient and eco-friendly future; through broadening our reputation as a thought leader and accelerating revenue generation.

The global Maritime Communications network comprises 30 committed and high-performing international communications and marketing experts in 8 countries.

The Maritime team is a fast-paced unit driving strategic communications internally and externally.

The team supports a range of activities, including content development, internal communications, media relations, social media, CEO positioning and more.

We are looking for an ambitious and creative student assistant to support the implementation of various internal communication programs. The position will be based in Hamburg and will report to the Head of Regional Communications & Brand. You will be working closely with colleagues responsible for internal strategy communication, leadership and change programmes.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist in content writing and production for our intranet or other internal communication projects
Produce and edit multimedia content
Support the organization, production and execution of events
Support the team with ad hoc requests

Position Qualifications:

University enrollment until at least summer 2024 studying communications, journalism marketing, public relations, organizational psychology or business administration
Experience in video editing
Excellent writing and speaking English language skills
Passion for news and video production
Easy to work with, flexible personality with sincere interest and ability to work in an international, cross cultural setting
Cando attitude and a hunger to learn
