ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The Electronics Technician Maintenance II position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, including a variety of Training Devices
  • Performs preventative maintenance IAW technical guidelines and equipment specifications ensuring proper functionality and safe operating conditions
  • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve routine electrical, mechanical, and computer issues by interpreting. manufacturers' manuals or similar documents
  • Performs inventory of spare/repair parts IAW contractual guidelines
  • Capture and records accurate maintenance history ensuring unique corrective measures for work orders and repair are annotated into AWARE
  • Applies basic and advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems
  • May supervise, provide direction/guidance, and check lowerlevel technicians' work
  • Ensuring that all paperwork and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance
  • This position may require travel to other installations and other ATMP locations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
years' experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting

  • Intermediate computer and networking skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's USAREUR license and On-Post driving privileges
  • Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Must have an Electronics Technician Certification
  • Must be able to obtain a valid Blue Card, VISA/Work Permit as required by German Law
  • Secret Clearance may be required, based on TADSS device, or assigned work
  • Must be a High School Graduate or have a GED

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong analytical, problemsolving, customer service and decisionmaking skills
