Tasks
Are you looking for an interesting task in the Powertrain Prototype Test Center as part of your mandatory internship? Are you interested in the world of vehicle mobility and would like to get to know the latest technologies in the powertrain sector: top innovative engines and transmissions, batteries and electric powertrains? Would you like to make an active contribution to the planning and realization of the prototype development program?

Then this is the right place for you

The entire internship is 6 months. (mandatory internship + voluntary part)

We are a highly motivated team that acts as an interface between the drive and vehicle projects and ensures that the ideas and innovations of our drive concepts become reality.

You will contribute to the planning of prototypes and the feasibility of the build-up program and help to realize the new product portfolio of Mercedes-Benz Cars.

These are the challenges you will face:

Collaboration on current new innovative drive systems
Preparation of reports and evaluations for the visualization of the development program
Analyzing planning changes, deriving recommendations for action and checking the effects of decisions at strategic and operational level
Further development of current tracking tools
Preparation of evaluations, analyses and decision documents for management
Collaborate with team leadership on administrative tasks

Qualifications

Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration or a comparable course of study
Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
Confident handling of MS-Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Commitment and ability to work in a team
Analytical mindset and strategic way of working

Please note that your internship at this location must have a mandatory component.
