About the team:


Within Finance we act as a trusted business partner protecting, creating, and driving sustainable stakeholder value through one innovative team, while creating a controlled and protected environment with accurate and timely financial information safeguarding the company with integrity, robust compliance and controls.

The Finance Operations team supports the finance operations across the organization in identifying improvement opportunities, works with stakeholders to develop business cases and implementation of plans and acts as an escalation point of contact for the BPO.

We ́re seeking a
German and English speaking HR Payroll Specialist (d/f/m) to join our Team in Berlin


What you'll do:


  • Together with the Compass and Global Payroll team, assist in the delivery of accurate and compliant employee end to end processes for a group of three German payrolls assigned businesses.
  • The ability to coordinate and deliver on a variety of business requirements to ensure statutory employment and payroll compliance.
  • Individually, and as a team member, strive to improve the systems, processes and payroll delivery environment to maximize the efficiency and accuracy of our service, for our business.
  • Collaboration with internal and external partners (outsourced payroll vendor, People Services Team (Compass), Reward, authorities and auditors)
  • Managing and maintaining clear and informative communications to vendor, business managers, HR and payroll operations management.
  • Being the primary contact point for the assigned German payrolls, developing and maintaining detailed knowledge and understanding of the statutory processes and legislative deadlines in Germany.
  • Owning or contributing to specific company projects such as improving and/or changing systems, processes or functions within the business.
  • Managing and resolving business escalations, seeking help and advice where needed.

Qualifications:


Your profile:


  • An experience in a multiclient HR/payroll environment, managing a diverse range of payrolls and business relationships.
  • A proven track record of delivering German payrolls.
  • Competent with German HR and payroll complexities, including different terms and conditions and the compliant treatment of differing wage types.
  • Compliant with German legislation and periodic statutory requirements.
  • Both, business fluent German and English languages, are a musthave.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and gain trust also with senior stakeholders.
  • A highly motivated and driven professional, with excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience of working within a service delivery environment.
  • Very well structured, taking pride in the standard of their work.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and other relevant programs.
