Job Description:

Defining the general layout & architecture within wind turbine systems.
Specifying, designing & calculating the different components of functional systems (onboard safety systems and assembly & maintenance enabling systems).
Coordinating efforts to integrate various systems and subsystems (rest of subsystems and/or disciplines).
Gathering, compiling & participating in the definition and management of WTG Requirements outside technology (industrial, construction, services, logistics ).
Coordinating & reviewing designs done by suppliers.
Collaborating to manage and maintain the configuration structure of the product throughout complete lifecycle.
Generation of design documentation: RD ́s, VRAC ́s, DR ́s, ICD ́s, diagrams, sketches, layouts, quality specs.

Qualifications:

Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Design Environment.
Deep knowledge in design tools 3D & 2D environment.
Knowledge in the product structures management and PLM systems are an added advantage.
Expert in interface management, regulations, manufacturing processes, drafting standards, product structure definition.
Experience of mechanical components design.
Knowledge of safety with the aim of improving design solutions.
Knowledge of regulations and standards related to WTG certification.
Proficient in GD&T.
PLM software: Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP.
Preferable domains: Wind Turbine, Aerospace and Automobile.
