Job Summary/Purpose:

Lead and ensure an aligned Sandoz approach to working with global, regional and local trade associations representing the generics industry and originator trade asso-ciations as applicable (including but not limited to IGBA, Medicines for Europe and Association for Accessible Medicines)

Lead the liaison with key international institution including but not limited to WHO, WTO, WIPO and OECD and coordinate the engagement of Sandoz representatives with these organizations
:

Monitor and analyze the international association and institutions landscape in the generics and broader healthcare markets to assess potential risks and benefits to Sandoz, and to develop action plans to engage on behalf of the company.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

-
Advocate and drive Sandoz positions on policy topics and issues matters in the re-spective trade associations and international organizations
:

Prepare briefs for Sandoz internal stakeholders including the CEO and other SEC members on key developments in the trade association and international institutions in scope to support internal decision making
:

Represent Sandoz in standing working groups and private sector committees of key international organizations and advocate for Sandoz policy positions in close align-ment with the Sandoz Head of Global Policy, the Sandoz Global Head of Public Af-fairs and External Engagement and the Sandoz Chief Corporate Affairs Officer as well as other Sandoz stakeholders

Bring feedback from associations and institutions and broader societal expectations on Sandoz into the company's internal advocacy process, and liaise with other func-tions across Corporate Affairs and the broader organization as applicable

Provide input into the development of Sandoz global policy, including initiating new policies.

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:


  • 5+ years experience in Comms/ Public Affairs roles with a significant time in relevant global companies
  • Experienced in representing the organization, lobbying and collaborating across boundaries
  • Dedicated PGA experience from work with the US and Europe and ideally Asia Pacific, Africa and LATAM
  • Managing Crises & Critical Negotiations
  • Knowledge of current and future global business trends
