Airbus Helicopters is looking for a
GH (Ground Handling) & GSE SDR (Ground support equipment System Design Responsible)

The Maintenance and Ground Operations Department is looking for a new SDR (d/m/w) to join the Ground Handling & GSE Team in Donauworth (Germany).

You will be part of a 60 people team located in France & Germany within the Airbus Helicopter engineering directorate

Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product.

Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Main tasks:

Implementation of technical specification for both GSE & ground handling
Developent, definition,, qualification and test (tools, procedure,.....)
Manage internal ressources when relevant
Manage & Challenge subcontractors & supplier
Commit on budget, schedule & content and provide deliverables accordingly
Minimize error risk from operators (Human factors analysis) and validate "CE label" when relevant
Responsable in front of Maintenance Architecte, Chief Engineering, program, program support officer.
Lead problems solving and support lessons learned by capitalization in our technical referential

Desired skills and qualifications

Degree: Bachelor's or Diploma / Master's degree in engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Several years of practical experience in the field of engineering
Basic knowledge in statics and CAD (CATIA V5)
Independent and organized way of working, reliability
Ability to afford stress in critical period
Languages: English and German business fluent
