The Spare Part
Buyer Planner - Supply Chain for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing raw material availability to ensure continuity of material supply.

This position is part of the Materials and Planning department located in Munich, Baierbrunn and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage spare part availability and safety stocks in distribution centers
  • Ensure spare part rolling FC and planning with service
  • Inventory management for spare parts including distribution center allocation
  • Coordination of spare part replenishment within buyer planner team
  • Identification of potential procurement challenges for spares, taking the necessary precautions and communicating these issues to the interfaces
  • Improvement of planning and replenishment process of spare parts

The essential requirements of the job include:_ _**- Business Degree or equivalent Supply Chain Management Certification (e.g. APICS) or Diploma and a couple of years' experience in a relevant Buyer/Planner position or supply chain management

  • Firm grasp of lean manufacturing and pull system principles for managing inventory
  • Ability to work in a methodical and accurate manner
  • Proficient in ERP (preferable Oracle), EXCEL and Power Point
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
