Location: Bebra, DEThe Mission of this Position is to lead, control and organize engineering processes in the plants to ensure on-time, qualitative and quantitative delivery of products to the customer is ensured.

Competency development, networking within locations and Vitesco Operations for all IE related functions.

Your New Responsibilities:

Steer all activities of the Industrial Engineering (e.g. process/test/productivity/Software Engineering), based on the company and plant strategy
Define internal KPI targets/cost improvement projects for the industrial engineering department
Define and manage the needed resources for the industrial engineering.
Define the strategic development directions of the IE department, including the technology roadmap of the plants in alignment with Vitesco Technologies Operations IE
Ensure the technical availability of the production equipment during launch phase
Lead the industrialization process in the plants, in alignment with the launch managers and the core team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the management system and quality manual
Contribute to the strategic and the operative planning of the plant, with focus on improvements, investment, manufacturing time, capacity and headcount planning
Ensure the conformity to time management standards (SAP routing / time study) within the plant
Harmonize maintenance related to day to day production, including Technicians, within the Production Segments
Lead, control and organize complex facility management processes, coordinate facility programs and projects in order to ensure efficient and sustainable operations
Disciplinary and functional lead of the Facility Management employees
Drive global network participation inside the plant , )
Contribute to the global standardization and continuous improvement of production processes and implement the global standards in the plant

Your Qualification:

Academic degree in Engineering
Sound Operations/Manufacturing experience in automotive
Cross functional knowledge and Lean Management experience
International and intercultural experience
Strong Leadership and Change Management experience
Project management experience in the functions of Production of advantage
Fluent German and English business communication skills
Willingness to national and international business travel
