Department Overview The United States Federal Government Markets Division Europe is part of the Motorola Solutions Services Organization, which provides customer support to Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Our goal is to deliver service solutions to Federal Government customers for their deployed systems allowing them to focus on their mission.
The organization operates as a close knit team with a keen focus on customer support.Job Description:
The Customer Support Assistant for the USFGMD Europe, Middle East, & Africa EMEA is responsible for the daytoday administrative requirements for the Federal Service organization.
Answering phone calls and coordinating service appointments
Process customer and internal orders
Effectively utilize all available business tools, to ensure the Federal Service and Solutions Team can correctly invoice and bill customers in a timely manner.
Work with the respective US service support teams, responsible for ensuring billings and Invoices are properly inputted into the U.S.
The incumbent shall agree to work under the Motorola GmbH flexhour guidelines to complete critical tasks, especially during either monthly or quarter corporate financial closes.
Tracking of invoices to ensure revenue flows to the correct departments
Assist with tracking tools to ensure revenue is being properly accounted.
Maintain up to date status of all Service Non Recurring and Recurring contracts to include both contract specific and customer data.
Log incoming and outgoing equipment into depot for repair into theasset management system
Parts ordering to ensure proper inventory on hand and for special projects
Participate in Motorola University online training to ensure that all Motorola Solutions employee courses applicable to this position are completed.
Customer Support Assistantshould have a minimum of 1 year Contracts Management experience andor related activities. In addition to the relevant credentials and background, the position holder should also bring the following core competencies
Effective communication skills verbal, written and presentation.
Must be able to speak and write fluently in English andGerman main language is English, but must be able to interface with German vendors.
Strong problem solving and investigative skills.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Possess a strong working knowledge Microsoft Office
Must work well in team environments and assist in promoting efficiency and harmony in the organization.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Good time management skills.
