The Tübingen location of Siemens AG develops, tests, and manufactures geared motors for the global market. The target customers comprise transport technology, automotive, and airport logistics, among others. The Tübingen plant coordinates Siemens manufacturing locations for geared motors worldwide.

Due to digitalisation solutions which can be checked on site, the plant was included in the list of "100 locations of Industry 4.0" of the Land Baden-Württemberg.

The plant in Mohelnice, Czech Republic also manufactures geared motors and their components.

We are looking for you as a Team Leader (M/F/d) in Order Management for both locations - in Tübingen and Mohelnice (Czech Republic) - who will lead a team that explores the current processes and implements innovative approaches for further optimisation.

  • You and your team shall be responsible for the area of order management for the Tübingen and Mohelnice locations. In doing so, you shall lead ca. 8 employees across the locations in a disciplinary and professional manner.
  • You shall be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing your team in the processes of order processing and production control.
  • In this role, you shall be responsible for orders from customers from across the world.
You shall monitor and manage the process chain from order receipt to dispatch, which is divided across two locations:
Tübingen and Mohelnice.

  • You shall be responsible for job planning (volume, quantity, product mix) for a defined spectrum of products based on strategic planning and comparing the required/actual status of AE/U.
  • You shall process the orders from order acceptance until delivery to inland and foreign customers while ensuring logistics performance of the delivery location, including the monitoring and reporting of such KPIs.
  • You shall represent order management in escalation and bottleneck situations.
  • You shall also take on the elaboration of proposals in cooperation with other specialist departments for appropriate process adjustments. You shall be responsible for the subsequent implementation of these measures in crossfunctional teams.
  • You shall closely cooperate with sales, production and other internal specialist departments.
  • You shall utilise and further develop tools in the area of digitalisation to optimise the supply chain.

Your profile for "Make the Future Possible".

  • Your success will be based on completed university studies, preferably in industrial engineering, logistics, or equivalent.
  • You should have several years' experience in the area of order management with deep knowledge in the area of production planning and control, customer order management, technical order management.
  • Experience in maketoorder production environment is a great advantage.
  • You should have prior managerial experience professional or disciplinary ideally in various cultural environments.
  • You should have experience with change management and be able to introduce new processes to your team.
  • You should have experience with project management and management of projects in process optimisation, and you should be able to think in terms of general endtoend processes / supply chains.
  • With your innovative spirit, you should drive things forward in the long term and with foresight.
  • You should convince by maximum customer orientation, own initiative, analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • As this function includes responsibility for your department at 2 locations (Mohelnice and Tübingen), you should also be willing to travel approx. 20% of your time.
  • Your profile should be topped by profound knowledge of written and spoken German and English, as well as very good user skills with SAP R/3 or S4 Hana and general production planning software.
