Your role and responsibilities:


HOLOPLOT has developed the X1 Matrix Array system, a world-first pro audio solution for large immersive installations, clubs, concert halls and any venue that requires the absolute best in sound quality - and we're just getting started We have an absolute mind-boggling pipeline of hardware products on our roadmap, and we can't wait to unleash those to redefine what's possible in professional audio.

We not only design and develop our products here, we also proudly manufacture in Berlin, Germany.

Having implemented a solid manufacturing setup for our current X1 series, we strive for continuous improvement of not only existing processes and systems.

Striving towards a larger product portfolio - the planning of new processes, systems and assembly lines will become a focus area over the upcoming year to ensure an overall efficient factory across a diverse range of products.

We foster cross-functional collaboration with our operations and engineering teams to ensure the best possible setup to reach our companies objectives and manufacturing is a core part of this.


  • Lead and oversee the manufacturing team during daily shift operation, including a daily routine of ongoing KPI monitoring
  • Work closely with key members of the Operations management team to establish Manufacturing priorities, metrics, plans and resources to achieve tactical and strategic business goals
  • Ensure the company's objectives are met on the shopfloor, incorporating best practices where appropriate, including lean manufacturing methodologies and further frameworks as needed (e.g. 5S, Poka Yoke, Waste Reduction, Value Stream Mapping, etc.)
  • Introduce new products including line design, material flow optimization, optimal space usage and lead the development and engineering of the n required tools and fixtures
  • Live and breathe continuous Improvement of processes, manufacturing assets, reduction of cycle time, and improvement of product quality leading to enhanced customer satisfaction
  • Be accountable for Industrial Engineering, Production Control, Shift Operation, and Warehouse Management
  • Maintain and improve processes in Lean Manufacturing, materials usage, capacity planning, manufacturing scheduling, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and plant performance measures
  • Work closely with service and quality to understand and address product quality issues and improve customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the development and management of manufacturing budgets (inventory and expenses) in line with company objectives
  • Respond to changing business conditions, adjust goals and implement contingency plans as required to meet budget
  • This role will report directly to the Head of Operations

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • A minimum of five years growing responsibility in managing manufacturing operations
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in technology). Advanced technical degree and/or MBA desired.
  • Hands on mentality and active problem solving
  • Ops experience in similar manufacturing environments (lower volume, high tech manufacturing)
  • Experience engaging with Engineering during the early phases of product development to drive Design for Excellence principles into the product design
  • Knowledgeable of lean manufacturing, especially regarding line design and setting up robust processes in manufacturing
  • An indepth understanding of Industrial Engineering methodologies
  • Experience leveraging an ERP system
  • Capability to manage multiple ongoing projects within specified time and budgetary restrictions while maintaining strategic vision with regard to future operations related issues
  • Excellent people management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage the details required to ensure all aspects of manufacturing run seamlessly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (German and English)
  • The ability to be a dynamic leader capable of creating, articulating and implementing a vision for manufacturing
