    Context & Challenges

    Pluxee is undergoing a Digital Transformation, transitioning from traditional paper-based processes to digital products and revamping its IT infrastructure on a global scale. We are on the lookout for a CIO whose primary task is to oversee the digital transformation within IT and other business functions aligning with the company's strategic vision.

    • Preserving legacy systems crucial for a successful local voucher business.
    • Integrating into a unified global platform ecosystem.
    • Expanding IT & payment operations through continuous performance enhancement and automation to boost efficiency, security, stability, and performance.
    • Efficiently prioritizing a significant volume of demand for technical and business requirements as a vital business function.

    Job Purpose

    The CIO plays a pivotal role in ensuring that technology fully supports the business strategy, facilitating the achievement of short- and long-term goals.

    With a firm grip on technical and organizational development skills, relevant experience, and a foundation in agile practices, the CIO will elevate our business, refining the current operational model to enhance functionality and merge two ecosystems into one, thus retaining and attracting clients.

    Scope and responsibilities

    The CIO will report to VP IT & Payment Europe and will collaborate with a network of Pluxee CIOs across Europe and globally. The CIO of Germany & Austria is part of the joint country Comex of Germany & Austria and has a reporting line to the country CEO.

    Responsible for managing the IT, PMO, and operations teams, the CIO will oversee their development by ensuring compliance with legal regulations, internal company policies, Sodexo Group regulations, and other internal guidelines.

    Technology & Payment Leadership

    • Developing and executing IT & Payment strategies and roadmap to align with business objectives while considering both global and local needs.
    • Collaborating with country Comex to establish short-term and long-term strategic plans for the organization.
    • Maintaining all technological systems and platforms in accordance with confidentiality, integrity, data regulations, and ensuring operational continuity and security.
    • Managing IT & Payment supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to contractual terms, pricing, and service levels.
    • Promoting Architecture and Cloud-first principles.

    IT & Payment Operations

    • Overseeing external partners involved in payment operations (4 corner model on Visa scheme) and voucher operations (3 corner system).
    • Enhancing performance measurement of IT systems and business processes within the local and global value chain.
    • Optimizing ITSM processes, tools, and overall IT organization to enhance service levels for other business functions; Implementing and ensuring a proper Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).

    PMO Portfolio Management

    • Managing the portfolio for developing and delivering Digital Assets to meet demand.
    • Efficiently prioritizing a large volume of demand for technical and business requirements using effective mechanisms in alignment with Global PMO.
    • Ensuring products/services align with business goals and focusing on enhancing solution time to market while ensuring sustainable growth, security, and scalability of the Digital Asset ecosystem.

    You're a match

    • Holds a degree in IT or a related field.
    • Brings at least 10 years of professional experience in IT Management, ideally in an international setting, in roles like CIO/CTO/COO or similar, being part of the senior management team in a rapidly growing and transforming business.
    • Experience in payments or transactional ecosystem, preferably within the financial services/payment industry or high-volume eCommerce/Retail sector.
    • Skilled in complex program and project management.
    • Fluency in both German and advanced English.
    • Proficient in ITIL/ITSM practices.
    • Background in Cybersecurity and Fraud prevention, with at least 7 years of experience.
    • Experience with DevOps and Agile Methodologies.
    • Willingness to travel at least twice a month.

    Nice to have Requirements

    • Previous experience in cloud migration, particularly with MS Azure or AWS.
    • Familiarity with current trends and methodologies in application management (e.g. Kanban, ITILv3 etc.).
    • Expertise in software architecture design, cloud-first approach, scalability by design, and Automation of Testing and Deployment.
    • Proficiency in IT service management and collaboration tools (preferably Atlassian stack: Jira & Confluence).
    • Knowledge in MS .Net or Oracle.
