Description:

Battery Systems specialist

Your Tasks:

- support the systems design process, including the use of DFMEA techniques for electric-powered heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

Definition, analysis and validation of battery Systems requirements.
Demonstrate an understanding of the thermal and electrical interdependencies in battery pack design.
Drive battery product architecture development, considering performance, safety, and manufacturability.
Develop and implement functional safetyspecific features and functions within battery systems.
Planning, coordination and execution of test bench and vehicles tests.

Job requirements:

_Your profile:
_

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering
Electrical or related field.
Many years of relevant battery systems experience.
Awareness of modelbased design using MATLAB/Simulink to develop control systems and models.
Understanding of design principles according to ISO 26262, with a focus on functional safety.
Proficiency in creating requirements from scratch, utilizing engineering analysis techniques.
Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and electrical architectures.
Familiarity with automotive software development, instrumentation, and calibration tools (e.g., Vector CANape, ETAS INCA).
Knowledge of Battery Systems SWarchitecture
Knowledge of Battery Systems requirements and functions
Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is required, English and Italian are plus.
