Position Profile:

Essential Functions

  • Build a high performing sales & marketing team by training, mentoring and coaching the team and ensure development plans are in place to continually strengthen the team. Ensure team is equipped with needed capabilities to perform their tasks. Creating a harmonious environment for working and motivation for all as the mean of general growth of the company
  • Champion by example the organizational behaviors embodied in a culture that leads to superior business performance; Remove silos and communication barriers. Energize team to achieve shared goals.
  • Empower growth mindset within the teams and manage change accordingly
  • Excellence in execution: effectively lead the business unit team and drive successful financial, operational and employee performance results to achieve stated goals for the assigned franchise
  • Performance Management: identify, diagnose and address country specific performance course correcting where necessary
  • Responsible for implementation of the business strategy and aligning local strategy and tactics with the local market conditions. Analyze and explore market trends, identifying fresh opportunities and set the business unit's strategies accordingly.
  • Create, implement and deliver on brand goals including input into longer term brand projects in Germany. Oversee German brand planning process and drive Multichannel approach & initiatives.
  • Responsible for P&L of the business unit and manage resources (including budget) across the Business Unit
  • Initiate, Plan, Execute, Monitor and review business project activities and ensure their completion within a scheduled period and budget.
  • Establish possible synergies between the various divisions/functions to ensure optimum benefits in terms of promotional & marketing objectives. Especially closely collaborate with medical and market access department.
  • Strong focus on implementation and continuous improvement of key account excellence. National responsibility for success in key accounts, support mindset change
  • Drive proactivity, accountability and empower teams in flexible and innovative thinking
  • Ability to communicate with impact & influence to the key internal & external customers and top level scientific/medical opinion leaders;
  • Monitor ongoing performance and stakeholder feedback and identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Deploy a multipronged approach that engages key centers, thought leaders, and other stakeholders and influencers in Germany
  • Contribute to and disseminate understanding of trends and best practice.
  • Collaborate with the Neuroscience European team and drive product adoption within EMAapproved indications in line with local country requirements
  • Be an active and valued member of the German leadership team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven success in healthcare sales and marketing leadership role across multiple distribution channels
  • Field Force and Marketing leadership experience involving a fully integrated P&L, achieving a business plan over a long period of time during challenging times and managing multiple functions;
  • Excellence at leading people across matrix and complex organization
  • Embody growth mindset
  • Significant knowledge of country health care environment including pricing / access
  • Significant experience in orphan drug indications within a related therapeutic area desired
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with progressive leadership skills
  • Proven success launching new products, market shaping and launch readiness activities
  • Ability to critically analyse complex data
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills to identify, understand and propose plans to address business issues and opportunities
  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Fluency in English required

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
Strong preference for a Science or Business Graduate
