Position Summary:


PURPOSE OF THE JOB:


  • Manage local Sourcing & Procurement of the Pick Up & Delivery to ensure that annual agreed targets are delivered in full.
  • Drive the development, implementation and evaluation of the local procurement strategies and ensure documentation to support this is up to date.
  • Your commercial focus and continuous improvement mindset will support the business to drive cost from the operations and engage with supply partners delivering significant value to the business.
  • You will also contribute to the success of the wider team in the development of category strategies and by driving supplier performance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:


  • The development of the annual procurement plan.
  • Managing the sourcing process from gathering and validating requirements, selection of potential suppliers up to the contract finalization and ensuring implementation, following a welldocumented procurement process
  • Screen supply markets for innovating opportunities.
  • Initiating and executing cost effectiveness and optimization projects.
  • Ensure that all reporting of saving and cost avoidance initiatives is completed on time and accurately.
  • Comply with internal policies and Sourcing & Procurement governance model in order to ensure consistency across the Category.

  • Knowledge of the operational process
  • Fluent written and verbal English is mandatory
  • Analytical skills

  • Advanced PC skills, especially when working with spreadsheets, databases and presentation software
