3D Computer Vision Scientist with System Engineering Capabilities

Your Mission:
Bringing Cutting-Edge Computer Vision Methods into Next-Generation Systems

Our task as

_ZEISS Corporate Research & Technology_ is to look for new technologies and markets beyond the horizon of our business.

As our new 3D Computer Vision Scientist, you will be responsible for monitoring the technological advances in your field and building a close relationship with the academic community.

Based on your deep understanding, you will then evaluate what technologies are suitable for our core markets and prototype innovative solutions.

In this way, you will play a key role in bringing innovative solutions to fields such as medical technology, vision care, the semiconductor industry, and life science research.

Your Profile

You strive to push the technological limits and conceive innovative solutions
You enjoy taking a systemlevel perspective and bringing together novel software and hardware solutions
You have excellent knowledge of 3D computer vision including technologies such as 3D scene reconstruction, object tracking, 6D pose estimation, and robotic perception
You have a master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics or similar a PhD is a plus
You have an excellent academic track record or at least 4 years of related industry experience
You enjoy taking responsibility and can lead mediumsized projects yourself
You have strong communication and presentation skills in English and German
