Customer Service Representative (M/F/d)


The Customer Service Representative is the interface between customers and multiple business and functional partners to deliver exceptional service to customers and profitability to Dupont.


The responsibilities include:


  • Order Receipt & Handling routine and nonroutine customer order activities for International Accounts, following up on samples, complex order entry, utilizing and following work processes, business sales policies, business strategy, and best practice to ensure high quality service and in compliance with SOX throughout the whole order cycle
  • Anticipation of customer expectations and identification of best solution or alternative
  • Differentiate between customer requirements and Dupont offer; choose the best/cost effective solution
  • Actively contributing to the business goals, in particular for Customer Service
  • Understanding of the supply chain and produce product process and work closely with the functions involved
  • Manage change and improve current Customer Service processes where necessary
  • Strong interface and daily interaction with internal partners, e.g. specialized teams, Logistics, Supply chain, Credit etc.
  • Work closely together with the Commercial function and Account teams;
  • In the event of a service failure look for immediate best solution for the customer and initiate corrective actions via the Complaint process.
  • Take over administrative work for CS Organization.

Your profile:


  • Commercial education such as Speditionskauffrau/mann, "Industriekauffrau/mann" or Commercial Bachelor degree
  • Relevant experience in customer service
  • Prior SAP knowledge is advantageous
  • Fluent
    German and English language skills required. Any other language is an asset
  • Experience in Sales Force is a plus
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Team player
  • We are looking for a person, who is proactive in handling customer service/order fulfillment tasks, handles stress situations well and is able to multitask.
  • Applicants should have a strong customer focus inquisitive curiosity, an open mind and a desire to succeed are important.
  • Experience in administrative processes required
