we are looking for a Shipping Specialist. That's where you come in

What you will be doing
Within the Portfolio Management Team of ADM's Global Ocean Freight Department you will reconcile and report on daily freight and fuel positions. You will be based in Hamburg, Germany and will be performing constant data quality checks as well as work on weekly reporting of longterm risk positions.
You will

be in contact with our Global Trade Team and Commodity Controlling to prepare monthly evaluations. Together with the team, you will work on monthly P&L projections and settling derivative contracts, as well as prepare daily derivative contracts.

be part of the Global Ocean Freight Team with the

unique opportunity to perform projects to optimize processes and increase internal efficiency.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter the most for this role:

Successfully completed Apprenticeship or Traineeship in the field of Trading, Banking, Shipping or Logistics
13 years of work experience in one of these sectors
Comfortable working on matrix, international, and multicultural organizations
General IT affinity and a good knowledge using Microsoft Office modules (Excel, PowerPoint)
English is our working language therefore you need to be comfortable working in this language, but other European languages are a strong advantage
Highly motivated to gain handson experience and work structured, swift and accurate
