I have partnered with an expanding semiconductor company in Munich and due to their continued success are looking to hire a Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Modules.
The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for the conceptualisation, definition and applications engineering of next-generation SiC Technology and molded power modules for automotive traction inverters.
Other responsibilities include:
Motivating and mentoring junior members of the teamDevelopment of power loss modelling software for wide band gap semiconductorsDriving thermal measurements, thermal efficiency and EMITo be considered for this Senior Applications Engineer for SiC Power Modules you will need a degree in electrical and electronics engineering or a related discipline and a proven background in the following:Broad knowledge of semiconductor applicationsExpert Knowledge in SiC-MOSFETsGood understanding of converter topologiesCircuit troubleshooting.
Familiarity with the use of Matlab/Simulink, Altium, Labview, and other simulation software packagesMust have the ability to understand and Gate driver circuits of IGBT and SIC MOSFETsOpportunities like this won't be around for long, so if interested please apply with an up-to-date CV and contact information.
