In order to support Cabin Engineering, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student within Cabin Engineering (d/f/m):

Location: _Hamburg _
Start: _As soon as possible _
Duration: _612 months _

Definition working student:

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies.

This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises.

A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities:

Engineering is on a journey to become a data centric organization.

For cabin engineering we are faced with a complex challenge of developing new cabins in close collaboration with about 180 different cabin suppliers.

In order to deliver on this strategy we are looking for a curious and creative mind who can support us on this journey.

You will be working with a group of experienced managers and support them in our efforts to setup a effective supplier management for our seat suppliers especially focusing on our data driven supplier performance.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to the following

Support team in definition and roll out of KPI's and reporting across engineering cross functions.
Supporting on time and efficiently the team in operational, planning or organizational tasks.
Join data from different data sources into the data lake to harmonize reporting.
Maintain data clusters and ensure that we are connected with all necessary data owner.
Drive follow up actions to closure.

Desired skills and qualifications:

Enrolled fulltime student in the area of IT, Engineering, Supply Chain and/or Business Studies or an equivalent field of study.
Fluent in English and ideally ability to speak & understand some German.
Data Analytics skills.
Experience with Google Data studios or similar is a plus.
