What You Will Do:

  • Functional owner/project management of the audio domain for one or more customers or domains
  • Liaising among different domains, Car Audio, Spaces and Audio domain including architectural and delivery related topics
  • Be an interface between Architecture and Delivery by connecting with different stakeholders in the organization (BU, Space) and with Customer
  • Technical responsibility and control of the delivery of software components from all suppliers and teams involved for the audio domain for different operating systems, including Android, Linux and QNX
  • Coordination of technical clarifications between different parties (development teams from different domains, suppliers, and customers)
  • Creation of specifications in close coordination with the customer, suppliers (HMI, platform audio, DSP development) and other departments, Space involved
  • Creation of schedules and schedules for the project and the customer. Participate in the planning of new projects, the introduction and development of HW-SW.
  • Define milestones and create an overall plan. Calculate overhead costs, material costs, development costs and costs of tools in detail.
  • Check billing, check customer complaints for recognition, represent company interests.
  • Control of the software development team for the projectspecific implementation
  • Requirements management based on DOORS or DNG in coordination with all development teams involved
  • Task management based on JIRA/ALM as well as status and document management
  • Track overall project and work packages, team progress and defect management
  • Proactively providing improvement suggestions within projects to improve productivity and quality
  • Active technical discussion during RFI/RFQ phases for future development projects and definition of the project scope as well as finding solutions for the requirements
  • Reporting of the responsible domain to the customer, project management and specialist department

What You Need:

  • Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering comparable
  • Experience as a software subproject manager in infotainment projects
  • Good knowledge of audio management and signal processing in the Android, Linux and QNX operating systems
  • Knowledge of CAN, MOST, AVB, SOME/IP desirable
  • Good knowledge of DNG, ALM, JIRA, DOORS, configuration and error management tools
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and mediate between different interests, particularly in internationally oriented teams
  • Selfconfident appearance with customer focus
  • Strong ability to motivate and communicate
